On the 28 of June 2024 was Matariki day

Me and my family went out to our family beach to celebrate the 9 stars of Matariki and to celebrate that day with my papa because last Matariki was the last day my papa was with us so we wanted to keep that going for him. Anyways we left our house at 9 and went to Whangarei to my uncle tangi thing and from there we went straight out to our beach .

The first thing I did was got out the truck and went to the water to take videos and photos of the beach and then I went back to help my family set up the tents and food before the rest of the family pulled up .

Anyways it was coming to night time and me and my cousin strolled around the beach to go look for some sticks and trees for the fire well the older people were up on the land doing the food for dinner and my dad was preparing the hangi to start cooking at 12 for us to wake up at 4 so we can watch the stars around the fire and eat our hangi and to listen to the story’s about how Matariki came to be a new thing for everyone and we did some waiatas as well and yea the end ..

3 things I liked about this ropu o TKKMOK are the Solo’s, Haka, Waiata. Why because tino ataahua to ratau reo and the aringa and to the solo singers tino ataahua hoki ratau .Engari one of the girls I know and she has made it really far with her reo norei ra (KEEP THE KTOWN GOING HARD) Tena koe . lastly the haka I could tell that this haka is showing us what the haka really means. You can also see the whakapapa of the words behind heir strong actions and their Pukanakana. Ko Te tatauranga ki toku whakaro mo tenei ropu ko Te 10 I Te 10. Norei ra tena koutou x2 Ara tena ra koutou katoa ..

What is something this article makes you realise or think about?It makes me think weird and out of it.It also makes me wanna tell people to be safe if u really wanna go do that thing in the bed and like be ready for what can happen and just make sure you and your partner are on the same page.And this makes me realise that i do not wanna have any kids until i’m 21…. 

 

3. What is the purpose of the article?letting people know that she got pregnant with twins in two different womb’s.This is to inform people about a lady with two wombs.

 

4. What additional information do you think should have been included?Something i think that should have been in this article is that if they were gonna be doing that they should have made a plan b and decided to make 1 baby instead of making two in different womb’s but then also its not my saying and it’s already been done so..

 

5. Why is this newsworthy? To let people know that there are some people that have two uterus’s and that’s pretty interesting.

 

 

Mr chef mark , Something i learned about him is that 1 hes been working for 35 years as a chef and 2 he went to school with Gordon Ramsey back when he was 18 years old….

There is heaps of thing in hospitality that we can all do right now and the one i’m interested in doing right now is maybe working in some restaurant and trying out new things that i haven’t did before..

2 safety things about knives , Never walk around with Ur knife facing up at people always have it down by ur leg at all time , Never pass a knife forwards to anyone always turn it around and give it the right way…

2 types of knife : you have a filleting knife for your fish and you can tell the difference because one is flimsy and the other is not, also the other knife is a hard bone one and that’s for pig and any animal that has a hard tough bone.

And down to the last part is the food,1 the food good and nice,2 we cooked it very good,3 me and mika did good for the first time but i think she just needs to whakarongo  a bit  more…….

If i could go anywhere in the world for free i would go back to Australia or back to Queensland why because over in Australia their are all my cousins and my mum side of the family who i haven’t seen before over their so that’s one thing i wanna go over oh and because the food,sunsets and the thing are good.why i wanna go back to Queensland is because i miss having to spend all my dads money and having moments with some of the whanau i didn’t even know about and having the baddest time in the snow throwing it at my brothers and right at my dads head but getting a hiding at the end but ye might not even wanna go because i don’t really like leaving the 404 cause that’s the hometown even though there’s not much to do over here but still all good cause all you gotta do is just help out in the wharekai go help the cuzzys out  but ye that’s about it so thanks for listening….harmony signing off 

I have had a great day at Bay College on our teacher only day that has had a great holistic kick start to the year. It was holistic in its range of focus points and application beginning with a whaka-whanaungatanga activity engaging with Key Competencies via actively learning about our workmates holidays.

Later, we were introduced with a really cool waka model that is a metaphor for us all moving together in the same direction – powered by our individual strengths, powers, abilities and goals.

This was a really great way for our new professional leadership team to engage with us, empower us while letting us know who they are in their new roles this year and how they are here for us all.

We also shared our most pivotal moments in our lives (mostly in relation to teaching) and assembled ourselves into a timeline for sharing. This was really great as it allowed us all to learn from each other, connect personally and remind why we are all in this career/journey.

Best teacher only day so far as it was social, innovative and fun while being focused on developing our students in the coming terms.
